Wisbech St Mary Reserves draw at Newmarket Res with strikes by Jesse Hemmings and Sam Whyborn

Cambs Kershaw League Senior B leaders March Town United Reserves were held to a scoreless stalemate by fourth-placed Bluntisham Rangers as the title race hots up.

The Hares’ reserve team are on 47 points from 22 games while second-position Witchford 96, who had a home 1-0 win over Needingworth United, are four points behind.

In the same division, tenth-spot Wisbech St Mary Reserves earned a 2-2 draw at Newmarket Town Res, the team immediately above them, thanks to strikes by Jesse Hemmings and Sam Whyborn.

In Mead Plant & Grab 1B, Chatteris Town Reserves (Jacob Butler, Jack McLoughlin 2, Connor Morton) won 4-1 at Mepal Sports.
