Leon shines on Wimblington debut

Wimblington 1sts got back to winning ways against Willingham at Parkfield.

Batting first the hosts made 265-4 with Steve Durdant-Hollamby making 97 whilst Marc Eldred hit 88.

Wickets were shared around the bowlers and included 2-12 on his first team debut from 17-year-old Leon Walker. Willingham were bowled out for 101 to help keep Wimblington in second place. The second team won a hastily arranged friendly against March 4ths. The Sunday side were without a game.

This Saturday morning Parkfield hosts a fundraising car wash to help support the club. All are welcome for £5 per car.

In the afternoon the first team host Witcham whilst the seconds travel to Cambridge NCI 4ths. The Sunday side are away to Ramsey.
