Members travel to Rutland to race in half and full marathon

Leverington Three Counties Running Club members travelled to Rutland to race in the half and full marathon event on Sunday.

Tim Clough raced the full marathon in memory of his father who sadly passed away a few months previously. Tim was running extremely well on the hilly mixed terrain course until half-a-mile from the finish line he suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious. TCRC members Arthur Sargeant and Teresa Rodrigues, who had already finished their half marathon, ran back and stayed with him in the ambulance until he was able to stand.
