Twenty-four members recorded 11 PB’s headed by Lee Johnson

Twenty-four Three Counties Running Club members went to King’s Lynn Parkrun and 11 recorded PB’s.

First runner home for the club was Lee Johnson with a fantastic PB of 19:04.

There was a strong but steady flow of finishers with Timothy Clough next home for the club in 20:34.

Then there was: Graham Rushmer 20:54, Matthew Knott 21:43PB, Mark Mattless 22:31, Gary Ingrey 23:05PB, Matt Hunter 23:19, Vicki Drake 23:57 PB (1st in age), Teresa Rodrigues 24:28, Sarah Johnson 24:58 PB, William Durkin 25:23PB, Stephen Rhodes 25:23, Louise Drew 26:24, Jayne Spurrier 27:19PB, Keith White 27:25, Tracey Else 27:26, Colin Apps 27:27, Fay Gratton 28:03PB, Reece Harrison 28:04PB, Alice Ingman 28:25, Sandra Rhodes 28:26PB(3rd in age), Victoria May 28:47, Melvin Green 31:03 and Tina Rust 32:39 PB.

Junior Parkrun saw 26 runners, with five TCRC runners taking part. Maisie Macdonald was first for the club in 9:27, Stephanie Harbord 11:31, Issac Western 11:38, Imogen Agger 13:20 and Molli Western 21:02.

Dawn Ball took part in the Thetford Winter wonderland 5k race, finishing in 25th place in a time of 28:28.

Bedford Harriers half marathon saw Claire Louise Apted take part, finishing in a PB time of 1:46:06 – fantastic on a hilly mixed terrain course.

TCRC’s next main event is the family-friendly Santa Fun Run at Wisbech Park on December 22. Fun for all the family and a medal for all finishers with a 1k race for £1 (enter on the day) and a timed 5k race for £5. You can enter on the day but entry online for the 5k race guarantees a finisher’s medal.

Registration is at 10am, 1k race starts at 11am and the 5k at 11.30am. There will be stalls, food stalls, bouncy castle and games. For details visit www.threecountiesrc.org
