Nina Markillie completes warm marathon in Costa Teguise while Phil Beldom and Malcolm Hunt ran half marathon

Over the weekend March Athletic Club had three runners taking part in the Lanzarote International event with Nina Markillie completing a very warm marathon starting and finishing in Costa Teguise in 5 hours 17 minutes.

Phil Beldom and Malcolm Hunt ran the half marathon on the same day finishing in 1:48 and 2:04 respectively.

On Sunday the club competed in the 3rd Frostbite League race of the season at Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon with the Senior team finshing in 6th place and they remain in fourth for the season.

The Junior team finished in 9th and are 10th overall.

Saturday, Lanzarote Marathon – Nina Markillie 5:17.

Lanzarote Half Marathon – Phil Beldom 1:48, Malcolm Hunt 2:04.

Frostbite Friendly League Race #3

Senior team 6th and remain in 4th for the season.

Junior team 9th and are 10th for the season.
