Ladies League Cup – March Town 2 Wisbech Town 0

The Hares faced Wisbech Town in the Group Stage of the League Cup at home on Sunday and it was another bruising affair.

In a very open first half, the Hares took the lead in the eighth minute when Ella Nutter played a strong pass to Naomi McGarvie who hit a clean shot into the far corner.

Chances fell to both teams, with goalkeeper Tori Sharpe saving well at the feet of a Wisbech Town forward and a couple of decent efforts went close for the away side.
