Norwich City 2nds 3, March Town 3

A hard-fought draw kept March’s promotion hopes alive.

March found themselves 2-0 down in the first five minutes, but managed to make it 2-1 when Jody Betts scored.

March improved and Betts scored two more before the break.

Norwich made it 3-3 towards the end of the first half from a short corner routine.

In the second half both teams lost their discipline as players were yellow carded.

East Men’s League 5NW

Cambridge City 5ths 12, March Town 2nd 2

A tough game was expected against City, who are second in the league and scored seven goals in the first half.

In the second half two March goals were set up by Tony Manze and scored by Charlie Boughton.

East Women’s 3NW(S)

Cambridge South 6

The ladies knew they were in for a tough game against second in the league Cambs South 1 and managed to hold their own for the first 15 minutes.

The ladies started off strongly again in the second half at 3-0 down and Hana Howsam crossed for Libby Wallis to convert from the left post.
