March came out winners in a hotly-contested friendly.

In the first half, Hares’ Emma Frost hit the bar before scoring at close range after a Louise Barbour lay-off.

The impressive Hares stand-in keeper Stacey Auker made two great saves from Wisbech’s Sophie Gutteridge, before debutant Barbour scored from a well-worked corner for the Hares. On 77 mins, Wisbech’s Albany Hodgson scored well from a free kick. Late on Alana Sugden almost got a third for the Hares, in a good workout for both teams.
