March Town 1 Fulbourn Institute 1

The Hares blooded four 16 year-olds in their starting 11 for this S Tech Prem game against Fulbourn Institute and put in a solid performance – but only after Fulbourn took an early lead.

The Hares forced their way back into the game with impressive youngsters Eleanor McLeish and Megan Tombs going close.

An impressive one-two move on 25 minutes saw Chas Miller set up player-of-the-match Emma Searle with an excellent 25-yard shot over the visiting keeper to make it 1-1.

March Town were the stronger in the second half but just could not find the net.

A good double save from Tori Sharpe at the death ensured a share of the points.

Manager Gary Davis said: “The youngsters, including Lexi Waters and Liv Goode, have really impressed over the last few games and are developing into strong players for the future.”
