Doddington athlete Jonnie Peacock has added another gold medal to his collection.
Peacock struck gold in the T44 100m at the IPC World Athletics Championships in Lyon yesterday (Tuesday).
The Paralympic 2012 champion British sprinter beat his rival Richard Browne into second.
American Browne was very confident after Monday’s semi-final where he broke Peacock’s world record by 0.02 seconds to take it to 10.83 seconds.
He told the BBC: “It’s going to be a heavyweight battle all down the track.”
