Stock car and banger racing fans have lots to look forward to over the Easter weekend, with two fantastic meetings taking place at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn.

First, on Saturday (6pm), the crowd-pleasing Unlimited Bangers are in action alongside the incredibly spectacular Two-Litre Saloon Stock Cars and 1300cc Stock Cars.

Then on Easter Monday (1pm), there will be a fun-filled afternoon at the Wacky Races.

Two-Litre Bangers, featuring a caravan race, will be joined by 4x4 SUV Bangers and Reliant Robins, as well as a chance for the youngsters to compete in Junior Bangers.

It will be a busy weekend for Wisbech racer Jon-Joe Cunningham.

He will be competing in the Unlimited bangers on Saturday night, before tracking both a two-litre car and an SUV on Monday afternoon.

Top Wisbech drivers Nicky Young, Rob Taylor and Luke Brinton are also among the entry of Bangers over the weekend, which has attracted a number of drivers from Holland to compete in the Unlimited class.

The Two-Litre Saloon Stock Car entry features the cream of the country’s young talent, as the 25-and-under Championship of Great Britain is also on the line.

Outwell’s Jacob Downey and Leverington’s Thomas Parrin will have their eyes on the silverware.

The 1300cc Stock Car entry includes the usual contingent of Wisbech racers, which is headed by Kevin McClagish, fresh from finishing third in the World of Shale Championship at Sheffield last weekend.

Multiple champion Roy Gedge tops the Reliant Robin entry, which also features fellow Wisbech driver Ashley Flegg.

Last weekend’s BriSCA Formula Two action at King’s Lynn saw Emneth’s Anthony Winters narrowly miss out on success in the final, losing the lead on the last lap to Peterborough’s Andrew Palmer.

Ollie Skeels (Upwell) managed a best result of fifth in a heat race.
