March’s David Earlam got a third place at the English Tae Kwon-Do Championships (TAGB Championships) 2014.
This event was held at the Worcester Arena and there were 16 fighting areas ran throughout the day with well over 1200 competitors and 400 officials.
This competition is the second biggest of the Tae Kwon-Do year with the British Championships being even larger.
Earlam was third in Executive Mens Black Belt Sparring. Earlam was one of 28 students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do took part in this tournament – with Pattern, Sparring, Destruction and Team Sparring events during the day.
A total of 12 medals were won at this competition.
Instructor Mark Farnham said: “To win any award at this event is a very serious achievement, so very well done to the students.”
The Mark Farnham Schools are now preparing for their next event which will be the Welsh Championships in Cardiff in May.
