Ten members of Fenland Running Club took part in the Peterborough 5x5 Remembrance 11K at Fineshade Woods near Stamford with all proceeds from the race going to the Royal British Legion.

A two-minutes’ silence was held at 11am before the start. With 374 finishers on the multi terrain two-lap course, with a couple of challenging hills, first home for Fenland was Rod Sinott 17th, 43:52.

Dan Carrington tackled a tough 15K in the fourth round of the Peak District Trail Running Series in Bakewell, Derbyshire, with a course including climb totalling 245m, Dan finished in a very good time of 1:12:55 which qualified as a Silver Standard award.

Husband and wife Alan and Sharon Bird took holiday running to a new level by running a Team Relay Marathon with stunning scenery in the US Bank Rim Rock Marathon Relay through the Colorado National Monument Park in America, completing the challenge in 4 hours 48 minutes.
