Long Sutton Mens’ 4th 0, Spalding 5ths 4

Long Sutton’s recent run of good results came to a halt against neighbours Spalding.

James Baker was in inspired form in attack, and Joss Calderbank was in equally fine touch at the other end, producing several great saves.

Jake Loweth gave his accustomed cultured defensive master class and Matt Portass, Pavel Saponenko and Jon Goodley put in a lot of hard work in midfield, but in the second half Sutton were caught on the break and slipped further behind.

LSHC Ladies 2nd 0,

Lincoln 2nds 3

This was a re-arranged fixture from December 13.

Lincoln were clinical in their short corners which led to three goals in the first half, despite an outstanding performance by keeper Hannah Kitchen. The defence of Gadsden, Oldershaw Ellis, Howell and Gray plus the midfield worked hard in the second half.
