A momentous occasion took place for some of the students from the Bushido Warrior Karate School with the first Black Belt grading since the school was founded.
The eligible students were put through three hours of tests in front of an examination panel.
Passes were Oliver Howley and Jack Smyth first Dan Adult and Aaron Frost first Dan Junior. Also taking part in preparation for his Black Belt next year was Junior Liam Horspole. Sensei Richard Smyth, who is the founder of the School, also passed his 3rd Dan Black Belt.
Sensei Symth said: “I am extremely proud of my students. If you took all the people who start martial arts, only three per cent attain a Black Belt. My special thanks go to Senior Senseis Seb King and Martin Hunnable.”
Training is for 4-year-olds and above in Wisbech, Walpole’s and March. Any enquiries to Sensei Richard on 01945 780725 or 07957 131815.
