Upwell teenage racing driver Jake Giddings competed in two different series at opposite ends of the country.
At the North Yorkshire Croft circuit he secured another top ten finish in the Renault UK Clio Cup in round 10 after qualifying 12th on the grid, round nine ending prematurely with a driveshaft failure. These results leave the 18-year-old in eighth position in the championship and fourth in the graduate cup class.
At Snetterton in Norfolk the week before Giddings took a break from racing his Finesse Motorsport Clio to compete in a Ginetta G40 in the Ginetta challenge, missing the chequered flag by a fraction of a second. He goes to the iconic Spa circuit in Belgium when the series visits there in July. The UK Clio Cup returns to action on August 3 and 4 at Snetterton and is live on ITV4.
