Chatteris’s Jordan ‘The Thrill’ Gill is feeling “brilliant” and “itching” to get back in the ring on Saturday (May 10) at Ponds Forge Arena, Sheffield.
The undefeated 19-year-old super featherweight feels he is maturing and developing as a fighter and “can’t wait” to show the results on the undercard to Kid Galahad’s fight for the vacant Commonwealth title, live on Channel 5.
“I’m feeling brilliant, I’ve been training now for weeks on end since my last fight and I’m itching to get back in and do it all again,” Gill said.
“I’m still only 19, I’m still developing and since my last fight I think my body has changed significantly - I’m filling out a lot more, getting stronger, I’m bigger at the weight and we’ll see what damage we can do on the 10th.”
Gill fights on the undercard of fellow Ingle Gym fighter and newly crowned European super bantamweight champion Kid Galahad as he takes on Australian champion Fred ‘The General’ Mundraby for the vacant Commonwealth title.
Also scheduled to fight in Sheffield is undefeated heavyweight sensation Hughie Lewis Fury and Morden’s former British champion and European title contender Lenny Daws, as well as a whole host of local talent.
