A double Bank Holiday bonanza takes place at the Norfolk Arena this weekend with racing taking place on Saturday (6.30pm) and Monday (1pm).
Saturday sees action from the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars for the final time before the World Final takes place next month. Daz Kitson qualified well in his semi-final. Other local drivers include Tom Smart and Jacob Downey.
Local drivers in the 2L Bangers include Nicky and Nathan Young, Richard Maryon, Daniel Clarke and Joe Barratt. Lady Banger drivers in action include Trudy Gowler, Caroline Garner, Stephanie Street and Alicia Greenslade.
Monday sees the Big Vans and the Reliant Robin World of Shale. The 1300 Stock Cars have their big one of the year – the Gold Roof Final.
Dan Hill is the local driver qualified in the best position for the Robins on the third row. Max Stott, Nicky Young, Peter Graham and Roy Gedge are also placed well on the grid.
Sam Gowler will be making a rare appearance in the Big Van Bangers with regular Big Van exponent Dan Clarke also booked.
Wisbech’s John Moat has qualified well in the 1300 Stock Cars for the Gold Roof Final as he starts on outside pole. Son Dean Moat starts just behind him with Dan McCluskey, Richard Hampshire, Lee Farrell, Buster Ketteringham, Jonny Pearce and Roy Gedge all hoping to go Gold.
