THE Wisbech Wheelers Cycling Club Tuesday evening TT was run in fair conditions with some good results, notably from newer riders.
With the absence of some of the big hitters, first was Mike MacInerney in 23.08 followed up by strong rides from Doug McLure and Stuart Emmett who tied with 24.27.
Doug’s son, 13-year-old Jonny, put in an excellent first time effort with a time of 30.09. Also worthy of mention was Mat Cherry who recorded 24.38 in his second outing against the clock.
The quickest of several Wisbech riders in action on Saturday in the King’s Lynn Open ‘10’ was Stuart Emmett in 24.33. Next in was top Wisbech lady Becky Taylor with 25.34 giving her third overall in the ladies competition against strong opposition.
