MARCH Boxing Club’s Vicky Larham is through to the Southern ABA novices finals after a semi-final win at Harlow on Sunday.
The 25-year-old Larham came up against the taller Jenna Carr from Exeter ABA and proved just too strong winning the bout in the first minute.
Vicky attacked head and body from the start and the referee sent the Exeter girl back to the corner and stopped it.
The March club have already collected an ABA Junior title with Charlie Stevens last month and coach Bernie Wing said: “It would be magic if Vicky could make it a double for March in Mansfield a week on Saturday.”
Stevens was in action for Essex on Saturday when he travelled to Norway and beat Amin Seour from the host country.
