Meanwhile at the King’s Lynn Parkrun, Richard, Justeene and Joseph Hammond and Joely Apps rested their legs for their runs on Sunday but volunteered as marshals on the course.

Over in Huntingdon, Justeene and Joseph Hammond and Misha-Zee Grant took part in the Huntingdon 10K, completing the course in fantastic times. Misha-Zee Grant also completing her first ever 10K. Also joining in with the fun, the younger Hammond’s James and Ben ran the Huntingdon 3K.

Three Counties Running Club entered their first team event on Sunday. Their teams, aptly named Lincoln, Norfolk and Cambridge, competied in the seven-stage Green Wheel Relay circumnavigating Peterborough.
