The 2011 Stock Car and Banger Season bursts into life at King’s Lynn’s Norfolk Arena on Saturday (6.30pm).
In the 2L Stock Cars Clive Grief Memorial, local fans will be excited that 1992 World Champion Paul Licquorice (Leverington) will be making his first appearance in a 2L Stock Car for five years. Paul will be racing the Mo Crowson car.
Former Banger National Points Champion Shaun McMillan (Wisbech) starts 2011 with an advantageous yellow grade. The BriSCA F2 Stock Cars doubles up as the opening World Qualifying Round of the year. Tom Smart (Wisbech) is one of the top contenders in this event.
Anthony Winters (Wisbech) won his first ever final in F2 Stock Cars at the final meeting of 2010 and he has now been promoted to the A Grade.
In the 1300 Stock Cars the entry includes Ant Heathway, Lee Farrell and the driver voted as the newcomer of 2010, Jonny Pearce (all Wisbech).
