Wisbech triumphed in Ipswich in the Investec Women’s Trophy first round after Christchurch went 1-0 up.

Lisa Williamson impressively netted five goals and Hannah Strickle added another to her tally.

Wisbech bounced back from a disappointing league result with a resounding victory in the cup against South East League Upminster.

Scorer for a much changed Wisbech side in East Hockey Mens Division 2N was Sam Markillie.

Against high flying Cambs South, on target were Dominic Stannard from a penalty corner and the pacy Lee Punter. Jack Bass played well in midfield.
