There was a record turnout for the King’s Lynn Good Friday 10 mile TT with 72 riders competing in what is a local club event without prizes and just for the joy of maximum cycling effort.
Ex-Lynn rider now with Velovelocity, Daniel Bloy, was quickest in 21.18 and had over 30 seconds to spare before next man home, Lee Desborough of St Ives CC with 21.55.
Third was Lynn rider Jorge Vieira on 22.15. First Wisbech Wheeler home was Phil Lee with 23.19, who looks to be set for a surge up the standings in his first serious season of time trialling. Two more rides of note were 68-year-old vet, Roger Sewell, with a 24.15 and junior, Will Day, who put in 25.09 and seems to improve with every race (not entirely unexpected with a junior).
