MADDIE Williams returned to winning form at the Wisbech & District Kart Racing Club meeting in the junior 70cc.
The Outwell girl in kart 44 missed the August meeting, but certainly made up for it with some brilliant and skilful driving to amassed her winning 90 points.
The 90cc junior class also saw a return to winning form for kart 07, Henry Laws from Walpole Highway. The dry early rounds combined with the fast track saw Laws fly and as the conditions deteriorated, he coped extremely well dropping just two points to finish the day with an exceptional 98 points. Second place with 72 points went to Sam Russell and third was Marcus Gilbert.
Ian Laws was also in good form in the 250 open class in a keenly fought contest with Stuart Holland.
There was never much distance between these two, but Laws always seemed to just have the edge and manage to hold his line and his lead. They finished the day in first and second place with Laws on a very impressive 98 points and Holland on 72 points.
Newcomer Stacey Jackson from Walpole Highway started well, finishing third in the 125 4 stroke class. Top place in this class with 96 points went to James Flowers and George Carter was second.
The 125 2 stroke class also saw a return to the top of the podium for Steven Gardner and the 250 4 stroke went to Luke Manders.
