Four times a year, students within the 14 Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do have the opportunity to take part in Colour Belt Grading examinations.

These are conducted by 7th and 8th Dan Tae Kwon-Do Masters from around the country, who each have over 40 years’ experience.

Gradings are held on Sundays and start with a one hour training session, where the student runs through the requirements for their grading. More than 140 students attended the three gradings, including children aged four.

They achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, and the examiner was Master Ron Sergiew, 8th Dan. Students receive their grades and belts at presentations which are held at their own school during the following week.
