March runner Larham takes Vet prize

Five Fenland Running Club members raced in high winds at the Riverside Runners St Neots Half Marathon on Sunday.

In a large field of 1,321 finishers, Sean Connolly was first home for FRC in 82nd place and a time of 1:28:11. Other positions for FRC runners were: Rod Sinnott 129th 1:31:20; Paul Griffin 149th 1:33:16; Maire Irlam 395th 1:43:22; Gill Holmes 1,309th 2:41:13.

FRC hold their AGM at their headquarters at Wisbech Rugby Club on Tuesday at 7.30pm after a shorter than usual Club Night run.

l Five members from March AC took part in the St Neots Half. Geraldine Larham was first home for the club and also winner of the Vet 45 Prize.

Four Juniors took part in the Fun Run with Hugo Bryant leading the club home.
