There were few surprises in the men’s group with Mat McClure quickest, followed by John Talbot and Mat’s dad, Doug McClure. Junior, Will Day, continues to climb the standings and it is good to see 70+ racing cyclist John Brown back after knee surgery.
There were two father and juvenile teams with Richard and Warren Eve chased in by Mike McInerney and his daughter Eve.
On Saturday in the King’s Lynn 25 mile Open TT between Fincham and Mundford, 60+ vet Roger Sewell beat riders less than half his age and in the team Becky Murley and triathlete Jane Holmes beat most of the male competitors.
