Prize night starts with parents versus juniors game

The Long Sutton Hockey Club junior section prize giving night was preceded by a couple of Parents v Juniors matches.

Neil Burton won the prize for being the most entertaining parent on display. Ian White led the presentations for the last time paying tribute to some of the older players who are graduating out of the junior age group (Kieran Forrest, Lewis Shooter) and recognising the contributions of some of the younger players (Charlotte Maplethorpe, Maisie Sullivan, Hannah Baker, Matt Goodley, Kieron Smith). Ed Lanning received an award on behalf of the Under 12s who had performed so well on the League Finals day.

Major winners, Leading Goalscorer: Josh Baker. Most Improved: William Taylor. Best Girl: Georgina Maplethorpe. Best Boy: Harry Thorpe.

All juniors were awarded medals to commemorate their effort and achievement throughout the season. The Under 12s finished the season as runners-up to Lincoln and the U14s as runners-up to Louth.
