Dave Marsh, a newcomer to the singles pool Tuesday league is the talk of the town as he tops the table after six straight wins, the latest an impressive 7-2 beating of league organiser Graham Wood.

Marsh remains the only unbeaten player in the league after second-placed Alan Mason lost 7-6 to England youth player Ben Teun, Mason leads third placed Gareth Neale on frame difference after Neale comfortably beat Eddie Viksne 7-3.

Three unbeaten players share the lead on the Monday night and its only frame difference that keeps Shane Balding, who beat Jonathan Hawkins 7-4, clear of ex-professional Chris Back, who also won 7-4 against Don Robson. John Dawson stays close on their heels in third after a near perfect 7-1 demolition job on the hapless Scott Bishop.

Other top performances came from England senior player Darren McCarthy who starting off -3 won 10 of the 11 frames played, against +1 league sponsor Nick Poli for a 7-2 win, Mark Payne, playing off scratch, won all seven frames to beat shell-shocked +2 player Darren Horsepoo 7-2 and underdogs Ashley Godfrey and Ben Leuty who both won last frame deciders against Paul Fowler and Gareth Barrett respectively.
