Long Sutton failed to find their top gear of past games in this Prem B fixture.

The Waltham keeper was in fine form but Sutton equalised through good work from Sisson. The second half saw Sutton undeservedly go behind. The reliant Harrison missed a penalty stroke.

LSHC Mens’ 3rd 7, Bourne Deeping 4ths 3

Gary Hales scored four goals to give Sutton a lead of 4-1 at half-time.

Edward White slotted a solo goal, James Baker scored and Jack Smith forced an own goal.

LSHC Mens’ 4th 0, Spalding 5ths 4

Simon Wakeham played on after a fall, but spent the evening in Pilgrim Hospital, finding out he had suffered a punctured lung.

LSHC Ladies 2nd 4, Spalding 2nds 1

Leanne Woodhead levelled following a Lisa Baker pass.

Sutton went into the break 3-1 up thanks to a short corner by Baker and Millie Lamming capitalising on a defensive misjudgement, while Woodhead sealed the win.
