Thorney run for Fenland

Thirteen Fenland Running Club members attended the Thorney Running Club 5 mile race on Sunday along with another 201 finishers.

First home in tenth place overall, with Fenland as his second claim club, was Steve Cockrell in a sub-30 minute time of 29.10. First (and only) lady home for Fenland was Mel Murdoch in a sub 35-minute time of 34.39.

First home for the club was Andrew Larham with 31.53 which placed him in 34th overall in a field of 214. Debra Wait was first lady and also won 1st Vet 45 prize with a time of 35.26.
