THE Wisbech Wheelers Open 10-mile Time Trial is a new event and was the first race of the season for many riders.
On Sunday the new Wisbech Football Clubhouse kindly opened up in the early chill.
Tandems: Mike MacInerney plus his dad, also Michael, were the winners in 25.44, followed by Tiffany Baldwin and her dad Pete in 26.06. Third were Paul Sims and new lady rider Jody Buckler who after mechanical problems recorded 27.28.
Solo: Chris Rimes of Fenland Clarion won with 22.14 and Wisbech rider Paul Ashby second at 22.32 followed by Andrew Dyason of VC10 on 22.41.
Team event: won by Gary Smith and Daniel Collins of King’s Lynn CC in 24.03, second were Steve and Joe Clark of Fenland Clarion at 24.41 and Mike MacInerney/Carl Murley third 25.00.
Paul Sims and Pete Baldwin managed 26.48.
