Fenland Running Club were spread across the country over the weekend.
At the Coniston 14, circumnavigating Coniston Water in the Lake District the weather was just about perfect for the 1.042 finishers.
Martin Jennings was first home for FRC with Andre Pittock a close second. First lady home was Sarah Gauvin and Maire Irlam took 3rd place V45. Terrific efforts from new runners Nicky Jennings and Larissa Follen.

At the Boston & District Friskney Half Marathon, with 140 finishers, the winter training regime again paid off with three of the four getting new PBs for the distance, with Paulina Zub knocking off 6.25.

Walpole St Andrew runner Matt Pyatt won the Friskney race in a new personal best time of 74.17, setting him up nicely for the London marathon in two weeks time.
At the Biggleswade AC Sandy 10-miler (Bedfordshire) in a field of 477, Colin Simpson finished 156th in 75.37 and Sue George was 367th in 92.10.
