Wisbech Town Hockey Club have announced that Waterjel Technologies International & MDD performance medical, are their new sponsors.
Waterjel & MDD performance medical have agreed a substantial four figure deal to supply branded playing shirts for the seven England Hockey League teams. Both businesses are based in Hertfordshire, UK and Carlstadt, New Jersey, USA.
Waterjel Technologies are the leading supplier of burns products to the international medical market and have recently launched a unique product for cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment. You may also remember the face masks worn by the poor victims of the London tube bombings, another of their products.
MDD provide safety and medical cover to the motor sport industry worldwide, their latest venture being a key partner in the launch of FIA Formula E the electrical version of Formula 1 which is becoming popular worldwide.
The shirts have been printed by local company Horsepower Clothing who supply WTHC with all their branded clubwear.
Players collected their newly branded shirts on September 15 from the clubhouse in preparation for the opening games on September 19.
Lambweston Meijer, the american/dutch business partnership based in Weasenham Lane Wisbech, continue the international theme by supplying all seven goalkeepers with gameday smocks.
A spokesperson for the club said “We are extremely grateful for the support and commitment Waterjel & MDD have given us in order to move our club forward to better things. ”
WTHC continue to seek sponsorship which benefits the club as a whole and have recently launched a 100 Club Lottery Draw, which is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
