Wisbech emerged victorious when they hosted a rearranged league game on Saturday.

Wisbech were buoyed by an away win against Peli’s earlier in the season, and Lisa Williamson forced the away goalkeeper into scoring an own goal.

Katie Rodger scored her debut goal for Wisbech after smashing the ball in from the top of the D. Wisbech were to unfortunate to concede a goal off their keeper’s pads. Player of the match was Nat Ward.

Wisbech dominated the whole game, and took the lead early in the first half through Georgie Woolmer converting a short corner. The lead was then doubled before half time again through a short corner this time by a Fiona Hamer Philip strike. After half time Wisbech dominance continued with Cesca Brindley getting 2 goals, the second a superb solo effort rounding the keeper. Stand in captain Woolmer finished the scoring with a tap in from a short corner.
