Becky Murley returned to racing after a long lay-off and although a long way from her best performances still managed to lead the Wisbech Wheelers ladies in with a 28.14 ride.

Triathlete, Mat McClure, once again led the men home in 22.33, followed by Dave Webster of Performance Coaching and Andrew Ward of Wisbech Wheelers in 23.26 and 23.35 respectively. McClure, also in the Wisbech club, is occasionally beaten by the TT specialists, but has shown remarkable consistency throughout the season and with his similar performances in running and swimming is in the top echelon of British triathletes.

In the vets local rider, 68- year-old Roger Sewell, still loyal to his old club Hounslow & District Wheelers, put two minutes into his nearest rival and in the juniors 13-year-old speed skater, Eve McInerney, did all the work on the front in the wind with her dad Mike riding shotgun behind and put in a solid 32.19.
