Ten-man Drove begin comeback in first half to lift trophy

Wimblington scored first but Parson Drove began a comeback in the first half to lift the trophy.

In the 13th minute Wimblington took the lead with a strike from Fury on 34 minutes Davey slotted the ball under 'keeper Sykes to level the scores.

A second yellow card came just before half-time for Drove’s Mockford.

Just after the hour mark, a cross by Young somehow found its way into the Wimblington net, and Drove added a third to seal the cup.

Wimblington: Sykes, Johnson, Stokes, McGarvie, Daplyn, Neville, Saxby, Poirter, Knowles, Mazurek, Fury. Subs: Springs, Adams, Richards, Coe.
