Wisbech Town CC overseas bowler Bradley Perrett demolished Nassington, taking three wickets in five deliveries.
The Kiwi paceman bagged 6-52 in a 145-run triumph after skipper Alan Burton made a century. Perrett, who took 2-29 in his first spell in tandem with fellow opening bowler Jack Hastings, is already looking to form a formidable pairing with James Williams.
However, it was in his eighth over that the New Zealander really made an impact, striking with his first, second and fifth balls as Nassington were dismissed for 96 in 28 overs.
Wisbech compiled 241-8 with Burton smashing 107, Danny Haynes 37 and wicketkeeper Josh Bowers 21. Burton dominated an opening stand of 108 with Haynes and then added 51 with Bowers for the second wicket.
Burton said: “Brad and James bowled very well together. Bradley was hostile while James had great control and pace. We were very professional in our fielding – there were no mistakes. Everyone was brilliant.
“We did very well to bowl them out as there was a bit of rain around.”
Williams took 3-13 in seven overs and Craig Johnson chipped with the other wicket.
Wisbech are at home to Ramsey next Saturday.
