Fenland Running Club members take part at Eye Charity Race
Last week, three Fenland Running Club members participated in the Eye Charity Race.
A multi-terrain five mile course was in aid of M.A.D. - Make and Donate. The charity raises funds for useful and thoughtful gifts and equipment that make the lives of cancer patients a little more bearable.
There were 117 runners supporting this wonderful charity. Tom Richards had a stunning run in 34:10, finishing 12th overall and first in the MV55 category.
Tim Chapman's return to form did not disappoint (36:01) as he finished 22nd, and Jac Richards brought the team home in 41:56 (54th).
Saturday, July 16 saw seven FRC members run in the King's Lynn ParkRun #501.
Results: Ade Mills 23:34, Stuart Cheslett 25:11, David Brammer 26:05, Trevor Sutherill 27:04, Jane Greenwood 29:56, Lucy Hicks 31:17, Ian Milburn 31:18.
Meanwhile, over at the Sandringham ParkRun #41, team 'Richards' were once again out in their FRC vests.
Tom finished in 23:14 and Jac in 29:15.
