Wisbech draw but March and St Mary defeated
A last minute goal denied Wisbech Town a well-deserved home victory this afternoon, while March Town suffered a surprise loss and Wisbech St Mary also went down.
The Fenmen were 2-0 up after just 15 minutes of their Northern Premier League south east division match against Sheffield FC but goals from Adam Chapman just before half-time and Adam Grayson in the final minute earned the world's oldest club a point.
Right winger Danny Draper scored both goals for Seb Hayes' men and Charley Sanders was unfortunate not to be on the score sheet after being denied four times during one-on-ones with the visiting keeper.
In the Thurlow Nunn League first division north March Town slip to seventh after a 2-1 home defeat against Great Yarmouth, Lewis Gibson netting for the Hares.
And new signing Flo Tsaguim was the goalscorer as Wisbech St Mary put in a determined performance but lost 3-1 at third place Norwich CBS.
In the premier division of the Peterborough League, goals from William Smith, Ryan Lennon and Joe Reed saw Parson Drove win 3-1 at Oakham United.
In division two, Long Sutton Reserves beat Netherton Reserves 1-0. Tydd Reserves lost 4-3 at The Limetree FC in the League Cup.
