Defeats for Wisbech, March and Parson Drove

There were defeats for all three of Fenland's senior football teams in action this afternoon (Saturday).

In the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midland Division, Wisbech Town drop down to 18th in the table after a 3-0 home defeat to third placed Carlton Town. Manager Brett Whaley's reaction here.

March Town drop to 14th in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Premier Division after a 4-1 reversal at fifth placed Woodbridge Town, Jack Friend netting his 10th goal of the season for The Hares when they were 3-0 down.

In the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Division One North, Parson Drove are 13th in the 16-team division after losing 3-1 at fourth placed UEA, Gaje Drew netting for Drove in the 75th minute. Wisbech St Mary were not in action.
