Danny Setchell picked up his second red card of the campaign as the ten-men Fenmen could not quite hang on to win, being held by their visitors on Saturday.

The midfielder was sent off in the 15th minute for violent conduct against the West Yorkshire side in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East.

Striker Alex Beck netted on the half hour mark after being fed by an Aaron Hart cross following a free-kick from debutant Jack Keeble.

There was no game last night (Tuesday) as original opponents Cleethorpes drew their FA Cup tie so were in replay action. A new date for this fixture is yet to be advised.

Also, please note that there is no longer a players and supporters coach to Pickering next Saturday.

Wisbech Town on Tuesday travel to Belper Town.

AFC Mansfield 3

The turning point of this league cup tie was a bizarre goal when the Wisbech players stopped, thinking the referee had spotted an obvious handball by a visiting player around the home box on Tuesday last week.

But the whistle stayed silent and seconds later AFC Mansfield scored.

Ryan Harnwell scored a consolation for the Fenmen, as the summer forward signing continued his scoring form after being on target in two consecutive league games against Marske and Lincoln Utd.
