Former March and Doddington cricket coach enjoys Sri Lankan success

Former March Town Cricket Club coach Harry Vaheesan has guided his team Jaffna Stallions to the first Sri Lankan T20 Premier League title.

They defeated the Galle Gladiators in the final by 53 runs on Wednesday.

The Stallions batted first and scored 188/6 with former Pakistan international Shoaib Malik top scoring with 46. Galle Gladiators made a terrible start, losing three wickets in the first two overs, and never looked like overhauling Harry’s men, finishing on 135/9.
