Wisbech & King’s Lynn Tang Soo Do students take 19 trophies at Regional Championship




Students from Wisbech & King’s Lynn Tang Soo Do martial arts club travelled to Middlesbrough to represent their club in the 2023 Regional Championship.

The event was held at the Eston Leisure Centre and there were around 250 competitors.

Wisbech and Lynn students won a fantastic 19 trophies over three categories - weapons, forms and sparring.

Nakita Davies was first in all three of her categories, qualifying for the Grand Champion Cup, where she tied with another student who outranked her.

Many of these students have now qualified to represent Great Britain at the World Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA in July 2024.

Instructor Donna Harvey said: “I’m so proud of all of my students, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to prepare for a competition like this one. Their hard work really has paid off.

“Also I have to thank the dedicated parents who travel with the club to these events, not only in the UK but around Europe and even the USA.”
