Latest news for March Athletics Club and Three Counties Running Club
Fenland's athletics teams have been in the thick of the action at a range of events.
Two March AC runners completed the Eye 5 Mile Charity event. Steve Robinett was the first back in 31:48 as he beat his PB. Malcom also completed the event in 47:34.
Alan Brown travelled to Switzerland to take part in the Ironman, finishing in 14:11:24.
Emma Tuck participated in Tryavna Ultra Marathon, a 78 kilometre race. She finished in 13:17:14 and won her age category. David Burgess, who ran with Emma, also finished in 13:17:14 for the ultra marathon (second in his age category). Although Tom Orr did not quite finish the race, he put in a brilliant effort.
Meanwhile, Three Counties Running Club had some great times at March AC's Darren's Dash.

Gary Bligh was first home in 46th position (20:21) at the Peterborough Grand Prix.

Jacqueline McGonigle took part in the The Great Rossa 10k in Tyrone, Northern Ireland. She finished in 1:15:00.
