Fenland Running Club members take part at Great Eastern Run in Peterborough with Dan Tickner running both 5k and half marathon events
Fenland Running Club were out in force at the Great Eastern Run in Peterborough.
Dan Tickner put in two excellent performances, doubling up by doing both the 5km and the half marathon, completing the half marathon in 1hr27min36sec for 337th place overall and the 5k in 20.55 for 31st overall.
A well-organised event, the race starts and finishes in the centre taking in many of the sights as it twists and turns before going over the A47 heading out and returning. The course is generally flat with the exception of the A47 climb and this lends itself to great times.
