Wisbech gym expansion costing £250,000 is headlined by IFBB Pro Bodybuilders Alex Kent and Sasan Heirati, world champion boxer Leigh Wood and Mr. Olympia contender Samson Dauda
A 24-hour gym in Wisbech has expanded its facilities to provide a top-level experience for all of its members.
Already regarded as one of the best facilities in the world, Boxcross UK, based at Regal Road, has undergone a further £250,000 in investment by opening a Nautilus strength centre.
The event attracted a string of big names in bodybuilding and boxing.
Proprietor Damien Pearl, one of several investors, said: "We're incredibly excited to open our new state-of-the-art facility in Wisbech.
"With an investment of over £250,000, we've equipped the gym with the latest Nautilus equipment, making us a trusted Nautilus strength centre.
"As the only 24-hour gym in Wisbech, we’re committed to providing a top-notch fitness experience for all our members.
"Our recent opening event was a fantastic success, and it was amazing to have such incredible guests, including Samson Dauda, Alex Kent, Sasan Heirati, Leigh Wood, Jordan Gill, Emma Dolan, and Stevi Levy, join us for the celebration.
"We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported us. Your presence made the day truly special."
Well-renowned bodybuilder Samson Dauda headlined the special gathering and there were also feature appearances by IFBB Pro Bodybuilders Alex Kent and Sasan Heirati, World Champion Boxer Leigh Wood, the gym's very own Jordan Gill, Commonwealth and British Champion Emma Dolan, and professional boxer Stevi Levy.
The event saw hundreds of people come through the doors.
Pearl wants the facility to work closely with other gyms and fitness centres to help promote fitness and well-being across the Fenland area.
"While there has been some animosity, our goal isn't to tread on anyone's toes. Instead, we’re focused on promoting fitness and well-being in the community," he said.
"We're open to collaborating with others in the industry, whether for boxing shows, bodybuilding events, or other fitness initiatives.
"We aim to create a supportive and inclusive fitness community in Wisbech, and we look forward to working together with others to achieve this vision."
