Tydd St Giles skipper raises more than £3,000 for charity from his Captain’s Day




Tydd St Giles Golf Club captain Neil John organised his 2024 Captain's Day, where 100 golfers took part in an individual Stableford competition.

Good weather on the day allowed a great competition, and John was pleased to announce that on they raised more than £3000 for the captain's charities.

The captain also thanked all his sponsors Andrew Hicks Ltd, BP Auto Repairs Ltd, Fraser Dawbarns LLP, Jason Boast and AF golf Peterborough, Vince Day, and Martin Bowman.

He thanked all for their generous raffle prizes and all who took part in a great day of golf.

Captains Day: 1 Dave Punshon 41pts, 2 Chris Simmonds 39pts, 3 ocb James Neve 37pts,

Ladies: 1 Petra Meir 36pts.
