VE Day running challenge for Three Counties
For their week seven lockdown challenge, Three Counties Running Club commemorated VE Day.
Members had to either run or cycle as part of their once a day activity the distance of 1.9 or 4.5 miles or km to represent the year 1945 or 7.5 miles or km to represent 75 for the anniversary. Some members even used the year of 1945 as the amounts of minutes they exercised for.
Wearing red, white and blue was also encouraged, along with trying to make a very interesting strava map to represent VE Day.
Some members even wore commemorative hats, tops and even a fantastic balloon display.
